After the final vote has been cast, Aubrey and Parker, the American couple now based in Thailand and who were leading Michael and Jenny in the standings at the time I posted my blog entry, emerged victorious with 22,559 votes.
Although Michael and Jenny did not win it all with a still impressive tally of 17,603 votes, their efforts (as well as those who voted for them—us) was still good enough for some really fab prizes.
For their runner-up finish, this lovely couple is getting a 2-night holiday package including spa treatments for at The Zign in Pattaya, an extra spa treatment at Nusa Playa Hotel & Spa, also in Pattaya plus complimentary tickets from Tiffany Show and Alangkarn Theatre as well as scaling cleaning treatments from Bangkok Smile Dental Clinic or Sea Smile Dental Clinic, all of which are worth a total of US$1,200.
That’s not all. Michael and Jenny also were also awarded with Best Promotional Blog honors and won an extra three-night holiday package for two at the Hilton Phuket Arcadia Resort & Spa, a prize package worth US$1,000.

But they’re not the only Filipino participants who got lucky in the contest. As one of two lucky online voters, Jennifer Que also won a total prize package worth a cool US$2,500 that includes a two-night holiday package for two at Absolute Bangla Suites, Phuket, an HTC Android-powered phone (the HTC Hero?), spa treatments at Oasis Spa and Samsara Spa, both in Bangkok and complimentary tickets from Siam Niramit, Siam Ocean World, Alangkarn Theatre and Tiffany Show as well as complimentary scaling cleaning treatments from Bangkok Smile Dental Clinic or Sea Smile Dental Clinic, all for two.
For two? Hmmm, wonder who she’s taking with her. Uh, Jennifer?
